Synopsis

Shapes are important in geometry. This program deals with some simple shapes, the square, the circle, the triangle and the oblong. The goal is to recognize and sort them. As we move through the games, we first sort the shapes and then point out that the same shape can have different sizes. We then present them in different ways. Children often cannot recognize a square when it is placed to look like a diamond. The final game gives some practice, and they are rewarded if successful, with the image coming to life.
