Synopsis

Shin Onryō Senki is a remake of Onryō Senki. The story and most of the dialogue remain the same as in the original version; Gameplay-wise, the versions are also nearly identical, using the same menu-based verb-object commands. The differences mainly lie in the visual presentation and technical quality of the music. The graphics are far more technically advanced; Most locations have been re-drawn from scratch. Scanned photos are used to depict some of the characters, and the anime style is less pronounced. Many locations and scenes have been enlarged, with additional close-ups, different angles, etc. A few locations were added or made accessible at different times during the game.
