Synopsis

Neon Genesis Evangelion: Girlfriend of Steel Portable (Neon Genesis Evangelion: Koutetsu no Girlfriend Tokubetsu-Hen Portable) is a video game based on the series, released only in Japan. The PSP version of the game sold 4,603 copies the week of its release.

Girlfriend of Steel is a visual novel, or interactive fiction, type of game. Set in the middle of the series (roughly before the attack of the Angel Ireul), the story revolves around a new alternate robot design (similar to Jet Alone) developed by a rival defense contractor, called TRIDENT units (alternatively, "Country Crawlers").
