Synopsis

Sid & Al's Incredible Toons is a spin-off of The Incredible Machine series. It features cartoon characters and objects instead of pseudo-realistic machines, but the objective remains the same: to build hilarious machines reminiscent of Rube Goldberg's drawings.

Sid Mouse and Al E. Cat have probably never heard of Tom & Jerry, but they are just as determined: any means is good to harm the adversary. They have many means at their disposal in Incredible Toons. Around a hundred puzzles must be solved, each representing a 2D machine with certain essential parts missing. The player's task is to choose useful objects in a separate window, position them on the screen and start the machine to see if it works. A simple example: a piano suspended on a rope must be dropped on Al. To do this, you place open scissors next to the cable and drop a ball on them - and voilà, the rope is cut, Al is crushed. However, most puzzles are much more complicated; for example, the player may first have to lure Al under the piano with a fish, which will have to be transported to the right location by conveyor belts.
