Synopsis

The plot of Sidewize takes place on four planets attacked by evil aliens. The player, equipped with a jetpack, intends to teach them a lesson, by shooting them with a laser cannon, without much surprise. The order of planets to explore is free. This side-scrolling shoot'em up offers great freedom of movement to the protagonist, with enemies arriving from both sides of the screen. Various bonuses are to be collected, granting advantages such as improved weapons (in six expansion levels), additional lives or a protective shield.
