Synopsis

SimCity places you in the role of the mayor of a new municipality, with the responsibility of building and maintaining a place where citizens can settle, work and be happy. The first task is to place essential elements such as housing, transportation routes, schools, factories and stores.

Pay attention to which sites will be most effective for which tasks. Some energy sources are polluting, others are not but are more expensive. Taxes must be raised to provide income, then a portion is allocated to public services such as police and roads. Earthquakes, floods and fires are all emergency situations that must be addressed to limit damage.
