Synopsis

Simon, a young teenager, decides to abandon his tedious homework to torture his dog (a much more entertaining activity). He finds the canine in question in the attic, barking at a dusty old book: a book of spells. Against all expectations, a ray of light springs from this book and opens a dimensional door. The dog happily walks through the door unconsciously and Simon hastens to follow. Dressed in a wizard's robe, Simon finds himself in a world of heroic fantasy. His mission: to deliver Calypso, the grand master sorcerer of the village of Fleur Deli, from the hands of the very formidable and unsympathetic Sordide, the evil sorcerer...
