Synopsis

Situation Critical is a one-player arcade game with three linked sci-fi action modes that can be played separately or in sequence.

In the first mode, a top-down Robotron-style shooter, the player guides a robot through connected rooms, firing in eight directions while collecting treasures and fighting enemies. An unstoppable pursuer appears if the player lingers too long, and the robot can withstand six hits.

The second mode is a side-scrolling space shooter. The ship fires forward, drops bombs, and must break through laser barriers while avoiding missiles and turrets. Fuel, bombs, time, and health are limited, so fuel pickups are essential to survive.

The final mode is a top-down space combat section. The player pilots a ship equipped with guns and bombs to destroy enemy aircraft and ground targets while managing fuel, bombs, and hit points. Each level includes a single refueling aircraft, making careful navigation and survival critical.
