Description
The Super Kaneko Nova System (SKNS) is an arcade card developed by Kaneko and released in 1996, derived in part from the architecture of the Sony PlayStation (Sony CXD8530CQ processor and GTE geometric coprocessor). It served as a platform for shooting and fighting games like Jackie Chan in Fists of Fire or Panzer Bandit. This approach allowed Kaneko to benefit from a proven 3D architecture at lower development costs. This BIOS manages the booting of the system before loading the game from the cartridge.
