Synopsis

In a Dark Deco universe where a cursed relic, the Skull Heart, grants the wishes of pure-hearted women... or corrupts them if their soul is impure, transforming its bearers into super-powerful monsters called Skullgirls. Skullgirls 2nd Encore is the definitive version of the game, set after the events of the original opus. Each character has their own "what if" story, exploring what would happen if he or she obtained the Skull Heart. The game stands out for its unique visual style (hand-drawn animation, design inspired by 1930s cartoons) and its ultra-technical gameplay: complex combos, tension system, and team mechanics (assists, attack ratios).
