Synopsis

This is a simple two-car, split-screen racing game. Cars cannot go off the track, but they lose speed when rolling to the side of the track or skidding through chicanes.

Cars can crash, meaning one car hits another from behind at speeds greater than 20 mph. In such an accident, the car behind automatically loses the race. However, if the cars are on the same level, racing allows one driver to move sideways to push the other player off the course, either to make overtaking easier or to distract the other player.

Each race can be contested by one or two players and, when racing against the computer, the player can choose one of three difficulty levels. Races can last from 1 to 99 laps and the player has the choice of racing on one of two tracks provided or designing their own track.
