Synopsis

Smash is an atypical 2D side view tennis game. Players therefore cannot move sideways, but can move forward, backward and jump, like the Super Volleyball games. When striking, the controls allow you to adjust the height and power of the shot, but not its trajectory due to the viewing angle. The camera constantly follows the ball, so the players are not always visible, but a mini-map indicates their positions and that of the ball. The game features four male and four female players, each with unique stats and nationalities. You can choose between a single match and a knockout tournament. The number of sets and games per set is customizable in a single match, but gradually increases as the tournament progresses.
