Synopsis

In Software Star, you play the role of the manager of a video game company. Your goal? Make a profit and maintain the title of “Software Star” for ten consecutive months. You manage the time spent on game development, the hiring and firing of staff, and the productivity of your team. Advertising and public relations are adaptable to regional specificities, with the possibility of opting for transparency or exaggeration. Seasonal variations, such as lower sales in summer, also have an impact. At the end of each month, you analyze your financial results, and once a year, the board of directors evaluates your performance. In the event of insufficient results, you risk dismissal.
