Soko-ban
Synopsis
Sokoban ("warehouse keeper") is a classic logic puzzle game created in 1981 by Hiroyuki Imabayashi and published in 1982 by Thinking Rabbit, a software company based in Takarazuka, Japan. In 1984, ASCII released a version developed by Khaled Bentebal. It served as the basis for numerous clones in subsequent years. The game takes place in a warehouse. At each level, the player must push boxes (one square at a time) to designated locations; once every box reaches its marked spot, the level is completed. Boxes can only be pushed one at a time (so two adjacent boxes cannot be pushed together) and cannot be pulled. This means it is possible to trap a box in a corner from which it cannot be retrieved! For later levels, you may need to plan up to 40 moves in advance.
