Synopsis

Sonic and his friends are back and stronger than ever in Sonic Adventure 2: Battle for Nintendo GameCube. Dr. Eggman is back up to his old tricks, and it's up to Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles to stop him once again. Sonic Adventure 2: Battle features faster-paced action, all-new two-player gameplay, and a branching storyline that lets you choose between saving the world as a hero or conquering it as an evil character.

Two new playable characters enter the Sonic universe: a mysterious black hedgehog named Shadow and a jewel-stealing bat named Rouge. In single-player mode, you'll traverse over 30 unique levels, ranging from a forgotten pyramid to an abandoned military base to a giant space station. There's also the enhanced two-player mode, which features 12 playable characters battling it out in new head-to-head games. It all adds up to making this game Sonic's greatest adventure yet!
