Sinopsis

Sonic the Hedgehog 2, sequel to Sonic the Hedgehog, which was in turn followed by Sonic the Hedgehog 3 in 1994. This game introduces main character Miles "Tails" Prower to the Sonic universe. The story follows Sonic the Hedgehog and Tails as they attempt to stop Dr. Robotnik's evil plans and rescue the Chaos Emeralds from his clutches. Six months after its release, the game had sold approximately six million copies and became the best-selling game for the Mega Drive. The game supports the special "Sonic & Knuckles" game merging feature, which allows the two Game Paks to be combined to form a Knuckles the Echidna variation in Sonic 2, where Knuckles can be used as the main character (instead of Sonic and Tails).
