Synopsis
Sonic the Hedgehog is a hack ROM made for Somari for NES. It was first created by jabu on November 20, 2016. It was later improved by Ti and re-released on December 1, 2016. The gameplay has been improved and the sound effects no longer interrupt the music.
An unlicensed recreation of the 1991 Sega Genesis game Sonic the Hedgehog, the game was sold primarily around Asia, Russia, and other regions where pirated NES cartridges were distributed. As in the original, players must defeat Doctor Robotnik, a mad scientist who seeks to transform the animal population of the fictional South Island into evil robots.
