Synopsis

Space Battle Deluxe is a simple strategy game for up to four players (the Lords) and, optionally, a computer-controlled opponent, "Deep Jones", who, it must be said, is not the smartest. Each player commands a fleet of spaceships and attempts to conquer a randomly generated galaxy, many of whose planets are already inhabited by neutral peoples (the natives). At the start of the game, each participant chooses their home planet. The first player then enters his orders (“from which planet to which destination to fly xx ships”) invisibly. In the status window, he can then view his planets, as well as an overview of the annual production rate and the stock of ships. The game ends after a predefined number of years of play (from 10 to 999). A report is then drawn up to determine the winner. This game is the precursor to Advanced Space Battle.
