Description

The parody versions of Space Invaders are almost a genre in their own right, a genre of which Space Bomber is a beautiful incarnation. After a very kitschy intro which immediately puts you in the bath (the bad aliens are coming, wow! pabo!), we attack a part of a completely western game.
On the basis of Space Invaders (no scrolling, enemies arriving from above) the game adds greater freedom of movement, a system of power ups but above all an enemy capture system: the ship has a grappling hook allowing it to kidnap and store up to 3 opponents. We can then use it again as a weapon: each type of enemy captured has a different effect, the possibilities are very numerous, with a lot of stupid gags to choose from.
The game mainly plays the comic card, with quite astonishing enemies (giant pig and flying trash can are only glimpses...), and excellent and very funny gameplay, especially (as usual in this type of game) with two players. The graphics are quite special, in a 3D that is not always very successful but quite original.
