Synopsis

Space Crusade is a sci-fi strategy game based on the Games Workshop/Milton Bradley board game, in which you control a commander and four marines who are sent on different missions aboard hostile alien ships. Your commander starts as a sergeant, but can move up the ranks. The game is accessible to three players, each commanding a section of marines. The alien team is "played" by the computer. nnnnThe game is a literal conversion of the board game, in the same vein as Gremlin's Hero Quest. It can be described as a turn-based board game in which the player must complete the main and secondary objectives to complete the mission, which usually involves eliminating the entire alien force on board or destroying the mothership, etc. This game features 3D close-ups during fight scenes, a feature that was later adopted by games like the X-Com series.
