Space Fever High Splitter
Synopsis
Space Fever High Splitter is another version of Nintendo's Space Invaders franchise, but with a nuance: if you don't touch the alien in the middle exactly, you'll split the alien in two, both of which can shoot you. The alien ships are arranged in rows and move slowly left and right on the screen. When the line reaches the edge, the ships descend from a line and move in the opposite direction (only one exception: see below). As you fire at enemies, the speed will increase, as will the number of enemy bullets. You have four blocks above you that absorb enemy shots until they are worn out, and being hit by an enemy shot will cost you a life. Sometimes a UFO will fly to the top of the screen; hit it and you will get points and a smaller alien, hit the smaller alien and get more points. There are three different game modes for 1 or 2 player games: Game A: Aliens descend two, climb one, descend two, ascend one. Game B: Aliens appear in a row from top to bottom, they add a row every time they reach the edge and turn around. Game C: The same as Space Invaders - all aliens move as 'one block' in the same direction.
