Synopsis

In Space Fiends, you pilot a spaceship to protect a research base from aliens who are kidnapping geologists during their work. You move across the bottom of the screen, shooting upwards to destroy waves of aliens that drop bombs. To free the scientists, you must take down the aliens holding them prisoner. More aliens appear on the surface and move around the screen. If you touch them or if you are hit by a bomb, you lose one of your six lives. Your mission: protect scientists and eliminate all aliens.
