Synopsis

Space Firebird is a game for one or two players where you are attacked from all sides by very agile Firebirds. Players move their spaceship left or right and fire a rapid laser at enemies. A Warp mode allows you to escape danger and attack the group of aliens.

Firebirds: Three types of birds—the Emperor, the Eagle, and the Seagull—fly in complex formations and fire in all directions. Each resists shots differently: the Emperor four shots, the Eagle two shots, the Seagull only one. The Eagle also throws a bomb that turns into deadly shards if hit; you have to hit it from below to avoid it.

Ship: Moves left/right and shoots Firebirds. Three ships per game (adjustable).

Warp Mode: one per ship, protects the player with a force field and allows enemies to be eliminated by rushing or shooting at close range. Destroying all the Firebirds leads to a new, more difficult sequence. An additional ship is offered every 5,000 points (adjustable). The game ends when all ships are lost.
