Synopsis

Somewhere in space, far from Yarg.

Just another routine visit, you think, as you settle into the plush comfort of the captain's chair. On the deck of the Zulu Space Station, you'll find the familiar click and whir of the deck's intricate machinery calming your nerves. Half in a trance, you eagerly await tonight's Yargian game of chance, Snirt.

ALARM!!! You are awakened by the shrill scream of the main alarm system. Suddenly, the bridge is in chaos. The crew members rush to the battle stations. In front of you, computer number 1 flashes a worrying message:

SECURITY BREACH!!
REPEAT: SECURITY BREACH
EXTRACTED LIFE FORMS DETECTED ON BOARD
FOREIGNERS ARE OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN AND NATURE
INTRUSION METHOD: TRANSPORT OF SPORES
SEMI-INTELLIGENT LIFE FORMS CONSIDERED VERY DANGEROUS
FOREIGNERS APPEAR TO MULTIPLY RAPIDLY
ASK FOR IMMEDIATE INSTRUCTIONS.

So much for the routine of service, you grimace, as you hastily begin to issue orders to your frightened crew. Thanks to the newly developed Commpak, you know the location of all your crew members with just a glance at the Telemuter screen in front of you. Quickly, you have your tough robots collect available weapons and take on the aliens in hopes of discovering their weaknesses. Orders are also given to your loyal and obedient teammates:

PICK UP THE NEAREST WEAPON
ENGAGE AN ALIEN LIFE FORM
REPORT IMMEDIATELY

Soon, individual reports are filtered. A robot in Landing Dock 3 reports a large concentration of what appear to be larval stage aliens. In room B, Sgt. Olmm announces the presence of several very large life forms and adds that the Noise Bomb is completely ineffective. A moment later, Olmm's life light flashes orange, then fades to black. The first victim. It won't be the last either, you silently predict.

From the captain's seat, the situation looks grim indeed. The #1 computer calculates your chances of being thin. Certainly, success will depend on your boldness, cunning, tactics and ability to make quick decisions. Now you realize, a real game of chance has begun and the lives of your crew are at stake.
