Synopsis

You are Spartacus, a gladiator who plans to rebel against the Roman Empire by escaping from slavery and freeing all the other slaves of Roman Crassus. Sword Slayer is a side-view fighting game where you take on various opponents one by one with your sword and shield, while facing an eagle swooping down on you. Once you exit the arena, you must defend yourself against arrows fired at different heights from the right of the screen. You and your opponent have three energy points. When you strike and block your opponent, you are attempting to land a decisive blow. If a blow hits its target, the opponent loses one point of energy. Once you have exhausted your three energy points, the game is over. The game also allows another player to play and embody your opponents.
