Synopsis

Halfway between the legendary Space Invaders and Galaga, Spectron puts you at the head of an intergalactic ship with a simple mission: prevent the devastation of your military base by a horde of extra-terrestrials thirsty for destruction.
Several elements are directly borrowed from Space Invaders, so your character is fixed at the bottom of the screen but is partially protected by shields. Opponents adopt a rectangle formation and move horizontally, and sometimes a bonus flying saucer speeds through the sky. To avoid crossing the fine line that separates it from plagiarism, Spectron offers a new tactical element: opponents can break away from the group to try to take you on the flank, once at your height, you will not escape them! In addition, the graphics are more colorful and the action more sustained than in Space Invaders.
