Synopsis

The action of Spore takes place in a laboratory where dangerous spores are cultivated. Unfortunately, an epidemic has broken out and the spores will soon infect places outside the laboratory. The only way to stop them is to use all available antidotes, but the vials are in this very laboratory...

The player must therefore go through horizontally scrolling levels and collect all the bottles. He can use his gun to eliminate the spores that attack him, but these are replaced by a destructible spore generator. Items to collect are useful: vials replenish life energy and pills can be activated at any time to temporarily repel spores. Other special terrain types include earth (which can be destroyed by the player or by spores passing through it) and impenetrable barriers (which can be deactivated and are sometimes reflected by mirrors).
