Synopsis

Star Trader takes place in a distant star system made up of eight planets, once thriving on trade, until pirates began plundering the trade routes. Merchants had to choose between fighting and dying or paying a quarter of their cargo in taxes; most gave up or fled. You are the last surviving merchant, now tasked with transporting goods between the eight planets, generating profits while remaining vigilant against the constant threat of pirates.
