Star Trader
Synopsis
Star Trader is a horizontal-scrolling shoot 'em up developed by M.N.M Software and published by Takeru in 1991 for the X68000. Originally released in 1989 for the PC-8801 and designed by Nihon Falcom, this first game version had at that time the particularity to put forward shoot 'em up sequences combined with RPG/adventure game elements. However, all of these innovations were discarded in the X68000 version, in favor of a massive overhaul, especially with a significant enhancement of the graphics, more detailed sprites and an efficient horizontal scrolling speed.
