Description

Star Trek: Strategic Operations Simulator is an arcade action game in which you take control of the Starship Enterprise. Your mission is to save the NOMAD Federation! Before you have a chance to destroy NOMAD, you’ll have to fight your way through ten levels (each consisting of several turns). At each turn, you will encounter Klingon fighters, deadly antimatter saucers, asteroid fields, and deadly meteors, all capable of depleting the energy of the Enterprise. The game ends when your energy reserve is completely depleted. To combat these dangers, the Enterprise is equipped with an unlimited amount of phasers and a limited amount of photon torpedoes. Each tower also contains one or more stellar bases; if you dock at a stellar base, some of your supplies (such as energy and torpedoes) will be replenished. The game is played from two points of view; the top of the screen contains a third-person view of the Enterprise (with the ship’s gauges), and at the bottom of the screen is a first-person view.
