Synopsis

Starfleet command attempts to contain a rapidly growing mutiny within the Federation in the Sagittarius Arm. All Federation starships tasked with discovering the nature of the problem also mutinied and joined the Klingons. To prevent the mutiny from spreading across the Federation, Starfleet plans to envelop the entire area in a Klein Sphere, sealing it forever.

In a last attempt to find out what is going on, Starfleet sends the Enterprise before the sphere is put into place. His five-year mission is to try to discover the cause of the defections and, if possible, stop them. If you fail in your mission, the sphere will become permanent. If you succeed, the sphere will be abandoned, avoiding a potential war with the Romulans.

The game is essentially a graphic adventure with real-time combat and piloting. The game progresses by flying to planets, teleporting there, and collecting any items you find. There are several possible solutions to the game, with clues found along the way.
