Synopsis

It is a period of civil war. Rebel ships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire; who, under the command of Darth Vader, rules the galaxy with an iron fist. The Empire is far from defeated, however, and many young pilots have joined the Rebels in hopes of restoring freedom to the galaxy.

Rebel Assault was one of the first games on CD-ROM and the first Star Wars game with the full original animated video. It is the side story of a young pilot in the rebel army. He's from Tatooine but he's just a regular pilot. The game takes you into key battles, like destroying a Star Destroyer, attacking an Imperial base, or destroying the Death Star.
