Synopsis

Star Wars: The Arcade Game places you directly in the cockpit of an X-wing, to experience the battle against the Empire up close. In first-person view, you play as Luke Skywalker ("Red Five") and go through three phases: surviving waves of TIE fighters, resisting fire from the Death Star's surface turrets, and finally, progressing into the trench to destroy the superweapon. No need to eliminate all enemies: you just need to survive long enough by managing your six shields. As soon as they run out and you take another hit, the game is over.
