Description

Star Wars Trilogy: Arcade is a 3D rail shooter arcade video game with some shoot 'em up elements, published by Sega in 1999. The game is based on the original trilogy of Star Wars films and allows you to relive the big battles on four different levels and two bonus levels. The terminal, published in three versions, was marketed on the occasion of the re-release of these films in cinemas in 1997 in a "special edition" version. The game system is made up of space battles, but also some pistol shooting sequences and lightsaber duels. The first mission features the space combat from the film A New Hope whose goal is to destroy the Death Star space station. The second places the player in the opening battle of the film The Empire Strikes Back, consisting of defending the rebel army's base against attacks from the Empire. The third recreates part of the final Battle of Endor from Return of the Jedi, in which the Rebels must storm a secret Empire base. The last mission, on Endor, offers space combat, then allows you to penetrate the heart of the Empire's second space station to destroy it. The bonus levels are laser gun and lightsaber duels.
