Synopsis

STARCROSS, Infocom's disconcerting science fiction game, takes you to the year 2186, into the depths of space. And this is not without reason, because you are destined to encounter a gigantic spaceship from the far reaches of the galaxy. Once docked with this strange ship, you must succeed in penetrating its mysterious interior. Once inside, you will discover a microcosm of the galaxy, populated by beings that are sometimes harmful, sometimes benevolent. But this great spaceship has a much more important purpose than simple cultural exchange. It carries within it a challenge launched millennia ago, light years away, and only you can meet it.
