Synopsis

Starfleet Encounter is a strategy game for two to eight players. Each player takes on the role of supreme leader of a race of space people, and as such is in charge of a number of fleets of ships. He can control up to eight fleets of ships, continuing three different ship types. Players use them to travel the galaxy and collect resources, which they take back to their mothership. This serves as both a home base for the various fleets and a factory ship for constructing new ships from raw materials. Once a player feels they have enough combat ships, they can attack other players' fleets.
