Synopsis

Stellar Crusade is a two-player game about mining and conquering on an interstellar scale. Two rival factions, the League and the People's Sacred Republic, clash for several decades for control of a small, richly endowed star cluster located in a distant arm of the galaxy.

The League is always controlled by the human player, while the PHR can be controlled by either a human or the computer. Each game round represents three months and is divided into three phases, with the PHR playing first in the first two phases. The economic phase is where you do all your economic planning, expanding industrial facilities, and producing ships and military units. In the movement phase, you issue orders for any covert operations, moving ships, passengers and cargo between systems. The resolution phase is simultaneous and entirely executed by the computer.
