Synopsis

Street Fighter II is a fighting game. Players choose from eight characters: Ryu, Ken, Blanka, E. Honda, Zangief, Chun Li, Guile and Dhalsim. They must then use their strengths in combat to defeat the seven other fighters, then four bosses: M. Bison, Vega, Sagat and Balrog. Each character represents a country and has their own reasons for wanting to defeat others.nnnnnnEach character has their own basic fighting techniques, based on three punching styles and three kicking styles. The effect of each of these blows depends on the character's position (crouching, in the air or standing). Street Fighter II uses a gameplay style based on "button combinations" that trigger powerful moves specific to each character. These include the ability to project fireballs, channel electricity, or capture the opponent in a tight suplex.
