Synopsis

Street Fighter Alpha 3 integrates a combat system called “ISM” with a classic fury gauge but available in three different fighting styles. The player chooses his style at the same time as his fighter. The first style is called "X-ISM", the gauge is marked in red, it allows the triggering of a super attack once the gauge is completely filled and then empties completely. Air guard is impossible in this system and the character's defense is slightly below average, but he also hits slightly harder. This is the original system of the Street Fighter franchise, adopted in the first of its games incorporating super attacks, Super Street Fighter II Turbo.
