Synopsis

Super Daisenryaku is one of many titles in SystemSoft's long-running war strategy game series. The game mechanics are based on Daisenryaku II, but many of the included cards are unique to that version. There is no campaign mode, and all included maps can be played. Some maps are intended for two players, others for four, and all maps can be played with any combination of human and computer players. The desktop versions also have an editor.

The game takes place on a large map made up of hexagonal spaces, each of which is made up of one of the included terrain types. Each player controls a certain number of units, which each occupy a space on the grid. Unit types are mostly based on actual military equipment from the time the game was released.
