Synopsis

Super Danganronpa 2 is a murder-mystery visual novel with action elements. The player character this time is Hajime Hinata, a new student at the elite Hope's Peak academy. On his first day at the academy, his class meets Usami, a Magical girl (in pink rabbit) introduces herself as a teacher. She transports the children to Jabberwock Island, an uninhabited tropical paradise, and explains that they are on a class trip to make friends. The sadistic Monokuma appears and launches them into a game of life and death.

Once again, the students of Hope's Peak can only escape the island if one of them manages to kill a classmate without getting caught. Once the murder is committed, a class trial is organized to find the culprit. If the murderer is not correctly identified, the student may leave at the cost of the lives of all the others. On the other hand, if the students find the culprit, he will be executed.
