Synopsis

Super Dodge Ball on NES is a dodgeball game based on the wacky universe of the license series “Nekketsu Koha Kunio-kun” which can roughly be translated as “the thug Kunio from Nekketsu High School” and which offered a dozen titles to the NES (Renegade, River City Ransom, Nintendo World Cup, Crash 'n the Boys: Street Challenge, etc.).
In several game modes (world cup, versus and bean ball where only one player plays against the other members of his team), the player must knock down the members of the opposing team by throwing a ball, thrown violently in the face, in order to win the match.
The teams present are USA, Pro All-Stars, England, India, Iceland, China, Kenya, Japan, URSS and Shadow (a clone of the USA team with better stats). In the Japanese version, the Team USA and Team Pro All-Stars teams are replaced by the Nekketsu High School and Hanazono High School teams (led by Riki, eternal rival of Kunio, hero of the series). The Japanese version is also playable with four players in Bean Ball mode with the adapter and a little voice says Namen nayo! ("Don't mess with me!") - Kunio's credo - when you press reset.
