Synopsis

This rally game in which you compete against the clock without other competitors on the course is seen from above with the use of the famous Snes mode 7 which rotates the scenery around the car in the turns. Although the game has licenses for circuits and vehicles (Subaru, Mitsubishi Lancer, Celica, etc.), don't expect a simulation: there are no settings or choice of a manual gearbox, while the animation is very fast and the vehicle responds without flinching to commands from the pad, with skids that are very easy to trigger. So it's very arcadey. But not easy. Due to the speed of the car, you will need to have excellent reflexes to negotiate turns well, especially when the asphalt gives way to gravel or snow.
