Synopsis

In Super Hang-On, you race a motorcycle around the world, completing each section of the track within a limited time. There are other motorcycles on the road, but beating them is not important, so they can be considered moving obstacles. Each continent corresponds to a different level of difficulty: Africa is beginner, Asia is junior, the Americas is senior and Europe is expert.

This is a very simple and straightforward game, seen from behind the motorbike in 2D (so the screen does not tilt with the motorbike). The right/left controls are the steering, and the up/down controls are the gear changes. Your bike is always moving, and your speed depends strictly on the speed you are at, although contact or going off the road will slow the motorcycle.
