Synopsis

Super Mahjong Taikai is a sequel to Mahjong Taikai. The game's structure and gameplay are almost identical to its predecessor. Among the differences there is the possibility of choosing a portrait of the main character (male or female) and some additional historical figures: for example, the medieval Japanese warlord Oda Nobunaga is now joined by Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Tokugawa Ieyasu, famous historical figures from the same era. The roster of modern characters (especially from developers such as Kou Shibusawa) has also been expanded. As in the previous game, the grand tournament mode is only accessible after the player has advanced sufficiently in the rankings.
