Startup firmware of the SNES CD-ROM prototype, the unreleased Nintendo-Sony add-on nicknamed "Nintendo PlayStation." It initializes the CD drive, shows a boot screen and loads a program from disc or cartridge. A preservation artifact of an abandoned branch of gaming history.
