Synopsis

During a special Christmas offer, the console was sold with the Super Scope 6 pack, almost impossible to find separately.
This game is played with a sort of large infrared bazooka. The receiver plugs into controller port 2 of the console, and should be placed, ideally, on the TV. A configuration phase, at each launch, invites you to define the center of aim. It is of course advisable to place it in the center of the target...
The bazooka consisted of 3 buttons: a large round red button (Fire), a gray oval button (Start), and a small button, on the back of the stock, which I never understood how it worked. It worked with 6 LR6 batteries, and the autonomy was a few hours...you had to want it!!!
It was a big innovation for the time, however, and Nintendo unfortunately did not have the opportunity to exploit its Scope. Which is a shame, several games were in preparation...

In the cartridge sold with the Scope, you could choose between two game modes: Lazer Blazer, or Blastris, each including 3 different games.
If the first was more focused on shoot'em up (interception of missiles, strafing of offensive aliens, attack on enemy planes), the second was more focused on fun (a game of Tetris with blocks to rotate, a horizontal Tetris where you had to shoot the squares of the blocks to destroy them and for the block to fit together, and a whack-a-mole).
Fairly basic games, but rather engaging in multiplayer.

The only two drawbacks were the very low autonomy of the Scope, and its size and weight: I was 11 years old personally, and it was not easy to hold it in my hand for more than 10 minutes without tiring!!!

The game is fun and you can play it with the mouse... worth testing.
