Synopsis

Super Smash Brothers features familiar Nintendo characters like Mario, Kirby and Donkey Kong and pits them against each other in battle! There are 8 fully interactive environments, one for each character, with obvious links to their respective games. The controls are analog, with different movements depending on the direction and force with which the stick is pressed. Items such as baseball bats, Bob-ombs, and healing items appear randomly in arenas, aiding nearby characters who can use them. The game uses a fixed, scrolling point of view, although the characters are rendered in 3D.
