Synopsis
It is a shoot-em-up developed and published by Tecmo in 1986 for the Nintendo Famicom. It is the sequel to the game Star Force, which is an endless vertical shmup that was very popular in Japanese arcades and was also released in America but was less successful. Unlike its predecessor, Super Star Force has a Zelda-like platform game element, has two possible endings, and is a little less linear. All this makes it very similar to the NES game "The Guardian Legend", even if Super Star Force does not reach its level of quality.
