Synopsis

Superman is presented on two discs and is divided into several sub-games, each more dangerous than the last. When the game loads, a very pleasant rendition of the Superman theme plays in stereo.

A mini-comic describing the plot of the mission at hand is a nice, if somewhat unnecessary, addition to the game. The first of these strips shows Superman fighting Darkseid's Parra demons.

Once you complete the first level, the game becomes much more playable. In addition to dealing with Darkseid, you must face Lex Luthor, who has formed an alliance with Darkseid to destroy Earth.

The graphics are faithful to the comics, our hero being authentically recreated in pixels. Some of his flights are a little rusty, but overall the game is well done.
